FOSDEM schedule for WebOS: FOSDEM schedule app for 2012 released (2 comments)

Added by Raphael Kallensee over 5 years ago

The FOSDEM app was updated for 2012 and just sent to HP for review. The update should be available in the official HP App Catalog next week. You can already find the version 0.2.8 in the Files section (the IPK is just the same as the one submitted to HP).

As the last FrOSCon version, the event details are now in an own scene, which improves the list performance and makes the app more useable in general. Most room maps are included, but some are missing and probably are shipped with a later version.

Geotag-logger for WebOS: Geotag logger v0.1 released in the HP App catalog

Added by Raphael Kallensee about 6 years ago

The application "Geotag logger" was now released in the official HP App Catalog in version 0.1 and is available for all HP WebOS users with a minimum WebOS version of 2.1.

This application allows you to track your location manually or automatically and export a GPX file of your tracks to tag photos from a digital photo camera with a third-party application (like Geotag).

The source code is available in the GIT repository or via the repository browser. You can also download the latest version of the .ipk package (0.1.0) from the "Files" section.

FOSDEM schedule for WebOS: FOSDEM schedule app for 2011 released

Since today, the FOSDEM app for 2011 is available in the official Palm App Catalog. The source code is available in the GIT repository or via the repository browser. You can also download the latest version of the .ipk package (0.2.2) from the "Files" section.

The application includes some enhancements. You can now set talks as favorites and switch over to the list of all your favorites. You can also switch to a view with all talks in the future - useful when you want to see what's next.

The performance was greatly improved (but there's still room for improvement). There's a new feed section where you can have a look at FOSDEM website news as well as various identi.ca and Twitter channels. There are also more maps included.
